Marton Care IPA, Inc. is a New York corporation operating as an independent practice association under 10 NYCRR 98-1.2(w). Marton Care IPA connects independent healthcare organizations and expands their health-plan contracting opportunities while preserving their independence.
Marton Care IPA is working to secure health-plan contracts using a value-based payment (VBP) model that includes shared savings.

How we work
Independent providers
Providers keep their own practices and bill their payors directly. The IPA credentials the network, contracts with health plans and keeps the public directory.
Separate decisions
Approval of an organization, credentialing of each practitioner and participation in each health plan product are three separate decisions, each recorded with its evidence. A directory badge reflects only verified participation.
Information handling
We handle protected health information only for authorized purposes under the agreements and privacy requirements that apply to each relationship. Agreements with providers and health plans are drafted by outside counsel.
